I'm not sure I understand the appeal of "Jon & Kate Plus 8". TLC is running a weekend long marathon--leading up to the season premiere tomorrow, it appears--and I've listened to a couple episodes while getting ready for work (boo for slinging lattes on such a gorgeous day!). Why is it that I get the mother of all colds combined with my wicked allergies just as swine flu is making headlines?

This means I get to endure about a million swine flu jokes a day from my hugely funny and sometimes unoriginal co-workers and customers.

My sense of humor is at an all time low and I'm ready to punch someone in the face.
